On second thoughtsAnother reader (Mrtankthreat) last week sent in an email reversing his opinion on Dishonored. I haven’t named anyone yet but that’s because most of the recruits die before I get chance! Big Lizafish (Gamertag)Ĭatch up on every previous Games Inbox here I’m now playing it on classic and I am finding it much more difficult.

I did employ one or two GC regulars the first time round and they all survived. However, I completed it with only seven casualties, all of which were unnamed rookies.I thought it was superb. Sometimes my soldiers face the opposite direction but the bullets appear out of their behind! When I started my first game I thought I had better start on normal because I’m a bit rusty. Bobbleheaddyīugging outThe only bug I’ve had in XCOM is when firing at point blank range. Excellent game that! Started a bloodfest of a play through now, feels so nice to be moving fast. What a horrendous game! I tried the demo before and I was on it for no more than 3 minutes, it was so bad! I can’t stand all these EA games, sign in to this, sign into that – how about no? In other news, completed Dishonored last night, a low chaos stealthy play through, although I did kill a few when I got bored of waiting around. Find out who in the next Inbox … (OR AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS INBOX) TheRunawayTrain Team GC’s jubilation was to be shortlived, as grave horrors awaited them, and only five of six (Sparta, Dennett, Biglizafish, RoboGill, Origami Angel, and Dappa) would return from the subsequent raid on the alien base. Mission completed, ‘excellent’ rating, but Ninginja and Floyd83 hospitalised. RoboGill C gunned down a Thin Man and administered a lifesaving medikit to Floyd, as the fight was brought to its conclusion by a series of attacks from Origami Angel, a raucously violent Spartas Edge, Dappa, and Ninginja. Ninginja advanced and killed the third Muton, but received a blast from a Floater in return. With no thought for her own safety, RoboGill C broke from cover to run to ‘stabilise’ Floyd, as rising star Leigh Dappa leant from cover to snipe a Floater from distance. Floyd83 edged forward to assault the third, but a devastating volley from a Floater left him bleeding out on the floor. Team captain, Spartas Edge, seized the initiative and killed two Mutons with a titanic rocket blast. Team GC arrived in an Indian truckyard and were attacked by three hulking Mutons, several Floaters, and four Thin Men. As will later become apparent, the full story starts one mission before, with a ‘very difficult’ rated escapade in India … This mission marked the first ever pairing of Spartas Edge and Paul Dennett after their recent emotional reconciliation in the GC Comments Box.
